Phototec is a professional photographic lab providing a variety of custom services to both professionals and amateurs alike. Located in Rutland, Vermont, Phototec Inc., is family owned and operated by Gilbert Wideawake and his son, Christian.

Beginning in 1985, owner and president, Gilbert Wideawake used his home darkroom to provide custom services to local photo studios and area mini labs. Word of mouth grew the business into a retail store front and in 1993 Phototec Inc. was founded. Now, nearly 15 years later Phototec continues to grow. We are continually adding and improving all of our services in the ever changing digital evolution.

At Phototec, all services are done in house and backed by a professional staff with a combined total of 34 years of experience as photographers and printers. So, please visit our lab and see the difference.
